No. There will be a few moments when I would love to have all of us together, and those will be clear on the itinerary. Beyond that, this trip is intentionally spacious.
If you want to join an excursion, come. If you would rather stay at the hacienda with a book, do that. If you need an afternoon alone, take it. Opt into what feels good.
-
We are staying together at Hacienda 21 in La Veleta, Tulum. Your room will have either a king or queen bed, a private bathroom, private entrance and air conditioning.
-
Breakfast will be provided at the hacienda, along with selected lunches and dinners.
The house will also be stocked with snacks and beverages throughout the stay. Several meals will intentionally remain open so you can experience Tulum on your own or with a few people from the group.
-
Please send any food allergies, dietary restrictions or significant preferences to me by January 2nd, 2027, so that I can make sure our hosts and chefs are prepared.
-
The sailing experience is included.
Other optional sightseeing, activities, or excursions you choose during your free time will be at your own expense unless the itinerary specifically says otherwise.
-
Real free time. This is not a packed group trip.
There will be space built into the days for rest, the pool, massages, shopping, wandering, naps, coffee, reading or whatever your body is asking for.
-
Absolutely. We are in La Veleta, with restaurants and cafés nearby and Tulum Town close by. We will share local transportation guidance and recommendations before the trip.
-
Either Tulum International Airport (TQO) or Cancún International Airport (CUN) works. Tulum is closer. Cancún may have a flight schedule that works better for you. Compare the total journey rather than choosing based on airport alone.
-
Once the ground-transportation plan is confirmed, this answer will be updated with clear instructions.

No need.

Warm days, comfortable evenings, and plenty of opportunity to be outside.
Pack primarily for warm weather, with one light layer for evenings.

Bring a valid passport, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, mosquito repellent, comfortable walking shoes, a light evening layer, any personal medications, and clothes that make you feel good.
And something golden.

Yes. Hacienda 21 has Wi-Fi. I hope you barely need it.
-
Yes. The hacienda has a dedicated fitness space with cardio and weights, as well as a yoga room.
-
No. Hacienda 21 is in La Veleta rather than the beachfront hotel zone. That is intentional. We’ll have more privacy, more space, and easier access to the town, and we’ll head to the water when the itinerary takes us there.
-
There is Wi-Fi available, but I hope you can give yourself permission not to.
-
Yes, and by design.

Because we are staying together in a private home with a limited number of rooms, the celebration is limited to the guests named on the invitation.

A WhatsApp group will open shortly before the trip for real-time updates and the things that don’t belong on an itinerary.
